9th Grade English: Students will be working on "The Cask of Amontillado" Newspaper Writing Prompt
Students will learn to apply knowledge of a story to the format of Newspaper writing. They will learn the correct structure of writing for the newspaper including: headlines, bylines, captions, leads, intros, and explanations. They will need to work together to assign title of newspaper, articles, advertisements, sections, etc.. Each student is responsible for an article.
They will be responsible for: brainstorming, outline, rough draft, peer editing, and the final copy. The newspaper will be completed next week.

10th Grade English: Students will be working on interpreting Fahrenheit 451 through a writing prompt which will be due on Friday, 12/16. They will need to apply knowledge of the novel to produce a comprehensive understanding of its theme. They will be responsible for the full writing process, which includes: brainstorming, outline, rough draft, peer editing, and final copy (MLA format).

10th Grade Academic: Students will be working on the relevancy of Fahrenheit 451 through a writing prompt which will be due on Friday, 12/16. They will need to demonstrate comprehension of conformity and its application for today. They will be responsible for the full writing process, which includes: brainstorming, outline, rough draft, peer editing, and final copy (MLA format).
